  Discussion Questions   

1. What are the main stances that can be taken on the existence of God? Despite differences, do these stances have anything in common?



2. What are our natural or biological origins? What are our remote biological origins?



3. Why are our origins important to us?



4. There are basically two ways the world could have come into existence: either someone brought it into being or it came by chance.



5. What characterises things that happen by chance?



6. Is nature well-organised or does everything happen randomly?



7. How does the non-believer relate to his remote origins? How can this influence his life?



8. How does the believer relate to his remote origins? How can this influence his life?



9. Why do you think some do not believe?



10. Which attitude towards the existence of God do you think is more reasonable: negative, positive, indifferent? Why?
