Throughout the centuries Scripture has transformed lives and relationships, it can change yours, too. Scripture, or the Bible, is also called the Word of God because in it we have the self-revelation of God himself, his thoughts, his ways and how he wants to relate to each one of us. Jesus Christ is also called the Word as the perfect self-revelation of God, in fact, ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ. 1 They go together and are inseparable.
These resources lend themselves to a variety of uses in bible meetings. They can be used as talks, as interactive Bible sharing sessions, as a source of meditation, prayer and contemplation. The approach adopted is more spiritual and relational rather than academic.
“‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” 2 Scripture, the word of God, shows us how to acquire a different quality of life, a different quality of love, a different quality of relationships. It shows that how we relate to God influences how we relate to ourselves and to others. It brings together in harmony the three dimensions of man, spirit, soul and body, which is the fundamental secret of achieving happiness and healthy relationships.
That is the purpose of Scripture, the Word of God, that is the purpose of this site.
In your quest for happiness and happy relationships bear in mind these words:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and overburdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” 3
